Classic Theatre of Maryland is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and the only year-round professional theatre company in Anne Arundel County.
Our founder, design team, and many of our resident and guest artists have experience in Broadway, National Tour, International and European Tours and London's West End.
Our professional credentials and high aesthetic standard are unique in the region. We are your destination for a world-class theatre and cabaret experience.

SUPPORT OUR WORK ON STAGE

Classic Theatre of Maryland presents over 180 live performances annually in our Main Stage theatre (5 plays and musicals), Cabaret Room (12 monthly cabarets plus special events) and outdoor performances at Reynolds Tavern and the Gresham Estate. We have produced five world premiere original adaptations and multiple HD theatre films. CTM remains committed to presenting great works that have stood the test of time!

Help us “LIGHT THE LIGHTS”! We are fundraising for our new lighted 43 foot marquee. The installation of our marquee has been a long time coming and we couldn’t have achieved this without the assistance of our Board of Directors, Supporters and Community Leaders who worked on our behalf to get our signage approved. Thank you to all who helped! We are still accepting donations and all leading donors of $250 and up will have names listed on a plaque in the theatre lobby!

SUPPORT OUR EDUCATION

We offer SCHOOL PERFORMANCES with corresponding workshops and Q&As for all of our Main Stage shows along with PRODUCTION AND DESIGN INTERNSHIPS for advanced High School and College/University students. CTM is dedicated to theatre education for all ages including residencies at senior assisted living facilities and special senior matinees.
