RAY WEAVER: A FATHER'S HEART- MARCH 20th

A Father’s Heart collects stories and songs by singer/songwriter Ray Weaver into a multimedia package that includes nine songs that relate to the stories of family, life, and love included in the collection. From heartfelt recollections of Christmases past to rollicking days of hunting wild refrigerators, A Father’s Heart looks at parents, grandparents, wives, husbands and, of course, children with tenderness, humour, and above all, love. Available from Audible and Amazon, Ray’s music is also available wherever you get your music.

Ray Weaver is the consummate performer. Originally from Pasadena, Maryland. His show,  A Father’s Heart and many of his songs include stories of growing up in the area and harken to memories of a Maryland of days gone by.  Although he currently lives in Denmark , Ray will always be a “son of Maryland” in his heart.

His love of being in front of an audience is obvious at every show. His seemingly endless repertoire and ability to please any audience combines with his love for country, blues, rock ‘n roll, the great Irish songs, his own stellar original tunes and his unique take on modern chart hits to create a show audiences remember and come back to see again and again.

Sarah Larsen is a multi-faceted musician. Originally from Wisconsin, she grew up playing classical music with her pianist mother and sister. Her formative years were spent studying at Lawrence University, the Walnut Hill School, and the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford on full scholarship. College introduced her to alternative styles, including a run with string quartet Vox4 that led to Carnegie Hall, Americana rock string trio Little Ugly, and premiering Gary Tomasetti’s Violin Concerto written specifically for her.

Sarah’s time in Philadelphia saw her playing with the Hot Club of Philadelphia, multiple bluegrass bands, and serving as a frequently called string arranger for local songwriters. She has recorded at nearly every studio in the greater Philadelphia area, working with Ben Arnold, Susan Werner, and Dr. Dog among others. Sarah is an award-winning contest fiddler, having taken Grand Champion of the Lyons Fiddle Festival and the Delaware State Championship.

Sarah resides in Edgewater, MD, with her partner Danny Stewart, Jr. and their dog Ranger. Sarah and Danny are the founders of Annapolis Bluegrass, a cultural organization that hosts jams, concerts, and lessons while spreading their love of bluegrass music to the greater Annapolis area.
